Torfaen take a Stroll has been running for 14 years with regular weekly ‘Health’ walks and ‘Progressive’ walks taking place throughout the borough of Torfaen.  We currently have walks meeting weekly in Blaenavon, Pontypool, Pontnewydd, and Cwmbran.

There are two level of walks, easy and moderate which members of the public can join at any time and at no charge.  We also liaise with GP’s and other Health professionals who refer individuals into the health walks. We currently have over 1,000 registered walkers.

The walks are helping individuals with physical, metal and social well-being with an important part being the tea, coffee and chat after the walk.
