What do you think is the best thing about living in Blaenavon?
As a community we appreciate and are custodians of the amazing countryside, our industrial heritage and there’s always a warm welcome for our visitors. Our industrial assets - the history; landscape; architecture and attractions such as Big Pit and the Iron Works are reason enough to fall in love with the town. But most of all, we appreciate each other, the power of kindness, shaped by our proud Welsh culture developed over hundreds of years. We are passionate and proud. No one is a stranger, we care for our neighbours and help is available at the drop of a hat. I can’t think of a better, more beautiful place to live. Blaenavon has given me many people to love and so much more in return.
