Healthy Blaenavon is a pilot project which began in July 2019.
It’s “place based” approach looks to create a more connected community, raise aspirations and educational attainment and make the town a better place to live for those in poverty. The project will maximise the opportunities whilst minimising the risk of living in a deprived area.
The town council through it’s “Healthy Blaenavon officer” will work with the community to sign post them to existing projects and identify gaps in provision.
