Our nationally-recognised Business Plan

The Town Council's first-ever Business Plan was highly commended in a prestigious national awards ceremony.

Chief Officer Kevin Warren took runner-up spot in the One Voice Wales Innovative Practice Awards for Best Annual Report, which is open to all of Wales's 735 community councils.

Kevin and Deputy Mayor Gareth Davies were presented with the accolade at the representative body for local councils' annual conference in Builth Wells.

​

The plan sets out proposals for the Council’s contributions to the community over the coming four years – until the date of the local government elections in 2021.

​

It lists the events and projects the Council intends to play a role in, but also appeals for local people to come forward with their suggestions for what it could also contain.
